Along the way we meet Horton (a soft-spoken elephant who discovers Whoville on a speck of dust) Gertrude McFuzz (Horton’s shy but loving neighbor), the Sour Kangaroo, (a strong-willed mother firm in her beliefs), and many more inhabitants of the Jungle of Nool.
